Tony will be undertaking the 25 mile Stonehenge Trek to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research, this September.

No Judo over Easter break
The school will be shut over the Easter holidays, meaning that there will be no Judo on the following dates:

Thursday 16 April
Grading Dates
The next club grading dates will be:

Tuesday 12 May
Thursday 14 May
(There will be no Judo on Thursday 7, due to General Election…).

If you would prefer to compete at your current grade, and grade later, please speak to Tony or Kev – we will organise an extra date for those who compete.
Hampshire Squad training dates
Hampshire has published details of squad training dates in the run up to the Southern Area Intercounties.
All Closed medallists are urged to attend – please confirm attendance to Derek Hopkins, squads manager, so that he can gauge numbers and possibly open sessions to additional players.
Fundraising breaks £100 barrier
Many thanks to all of you who have used the Easyfundraising option, your donations to the Club have now broken the £100 barrier.
That equates to
- Nearly one week’s worth of hall hire; OR
- Nearly two 1 x 1 metre tatami.

The Hajime Gi is the perfect kit for children starting judo. At an UNBEATABLE PRICE all Hajime Gis are strong, light and beautifully finished, and come complete with a white belt. A stylish Kit at a cheap price.
If you’re looking for a good quality and affordable kit the Red Label is for you. The gi is stylish, comes in white or blue and has the FF logo displayed on the jacket, trousers and white belt (included).
Sizes range from 100 – 190cm, with prices between £19.20 and 40.80.
A Mean Kit at a Mean Price. The Black Label is a top quality gi aimed at Dan grades, fighters going for their black belt and aspiring champions. A tough double weave and a brush cotton interior make it both strong and comfortable. The kits have stylish tapered Fighting Films flashes on both shoulders.
The Black Label kit starts at 145cm and grows to 200cm, with prices from £56.25 to £82.50.
Please note that postage charges of approximately £10.00 apply on top of the above prices; for this reason we prefer to buy several kits together to minimise shipping costs, but can buy individually if required. Delivery is usually within 1 or 2 days.
