The next squad session will be held on Sunday 26 June 2022 10.00 – 12.00 at Andover Leisure Centre, West Street, Andover SP10 1QP.

Open to all Hampshire players & Squad members, this is the first session following this year’s “New Format” Southern area intercounties championships. Our aim is to now build the squad in preparation for some “friendlies” and the 2023 event. The session will be followed by a bring your own picnic weather permitting at Scorpion Judo Club Andover (SP11 6UF)

Note :-There is metered parking at the leisure centre, however there is free parking throughout town centre car parks all within a 5 min walk. (Multi storey Andover SP10 1RN)

The format of the upcoming Hampshire squad session (Sunday 13 February) has been tweaked to allow for two sessions:

10.00 – 11.30 Juniors -14 years
12.00 – 13.30 Seniors +14 years

Venue will be Holbrook Judo Club, Gym No 1, Brune Park School, Military Road, Gosport PO12 3BU.

Open to all licenced Judoka. Mat fee £5.00

The first Hampshire junior squad session of 2022 will be hosted by Holbrook Judo Club on 13 February.

The session will be held at Brune Park School, Military Road, Gosport and will run from 1000 – 1200. All licensed judoka are welcome, a £5 mat fee is payable.

After an impressive turnout for the masterclasses with Gemma Howell, the next Hampshire squad session has been annouced for 7 November.

As usual, the session will be held at Eastleigh Leisure Centre, from 1000 to 1200. A £5 mat fee will apply. The session is open to adults and children aged over 8 who wish to gain extra mat time and improve their judo skills with a wide range of partners.

Please note that the recently announced squad session on 3rd October has been cancelled.

This decision has been taken in light of the difficulties people have encountered accessing fuel, and possible knock on impacts on attendance.

Hampshire Squad sessions will resume from Sunday 3rd October.

As before, these will be held at Places Leisure (previously Fleming Park Leisure Centre), in Eastleigh. The session is open to ALL players aged 8 and over, including adults.

The session will begin at 10:00, a £5 mat fee is payable.

The next Hampshire squad session is being held at Fleming Park leisure centre on Sunday 16 February.

Starting at 10 am and running for two hours, the session is open to all competitively minded players (junior aged 8 and over and senior). There is a £5 mat fee.
