Still time to support Tony’s trek in aid of Alzheimer’s research

Stonehenge

Stonehenge

Just a quick reminder that Tony will be undertaking a 26 mile charity trek in September, linking Old Sarum, Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge, to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research.

Alzheimer’s Disease is a truly horrendous condition, afflicting many people, not just the elderly (think Sir Terry Pratchett…).

Full details of the trek, and how you can help by donating, can be found here.

Thank you to those who have already donated, and those who are about to.

Fundraising update

fundraising costs charity

We are pleased to report that funds raised to date through your online shopping are just short of £120. That is roughly equivalent to one week’s hall hire.

You can help to support the Club at no cost to yourself, even whilst we are shut, by using the Easy Fundraising scheme we set up last year.

As always, thank for your ongoing support.
