Squad session this weekend

Hampshire Judo will be running a squad session this Sunday, 21 April.

The session will be held at Fleming Park Leisure Centre (Places for People) in Eastleigh.

The session will run from 1000-1200 and is open to all players.

This will be the final session prior to the Hampshire Closed and will be a great chance to get some extra practice.

Licence reminder

As we return to training after the Easter break, please make sure your membership and licences are up to date.

Your licence is your insurance cover in case of injury, and is necessary to partake in gradings and competitions. It also gives you access to a range of other benefits.

Hampshire Closed 2024

Just a reminder, as we mentioned in a previous post – entry is now open to the 2024 Hampshire Closed.

A medal here may qualify you to represent Hampshire in the Southern Area interCounty tournament.

The Hampshire Closed has been the launchpad for many of our players who have gone on to great success.

Chloe throws for ippon with uchimata

Chloe’s hard work continues to pay off, with a bronze medal at the National School Championships. Chloe has been training hard at a number of clubs across the region, including Camberley.

Competing on Saturday in Sheffield, Chloe won 3 out of 4 fights to secure a well deserved bronze medal.

Following her success at the recent Southern Area Schools regional qualifier, Chloe will be heading to Sheffield again this weekend to compete in the national Schools Championship.
